- Two Sisters and a Case of Canning Jars -
In The Beginning...............

One of the most frequent questions we receive while attending shows is "Why Two Sisters Canning Company"?
Well, in the beginning our cookie and soup mixes were packaged in canning jars. They were really pretty and caught the customer's eye. We had them decorated with fabric and attached hand made tags and miniature whisks. We even made the whisks ourselves using dowel rods, black wire and super glue. Endless days of glue-fingers! The jars did create a few problems for us though. Regardless of the outside temperature, our chocolate chips would melt inside the jars if hit with direct sunlight. They didn't look so pretty any more. : (
As each year passed, those jars seemed to get heavier and heavier. And let's face it, we weren't getting any younger.....
Over the years we have moved towards lighter, more eco friendly packaging solutions. Saving our joints and the environment at the same time, it's a win-win! And we get to explore our inner artist. We love to design and create our packaging almost a much as we love to create new mix recipes.
